So I push the momentary button to do quick work, or just lock the mirror up, then the on/off switch to capture long exposure. Don't have it hooked up with the "halfway down" button, didn't see a need for it. But here are the pics of it. It serves as a multi-purpose tool--when your taking long exposures, just file your nails while you wait! Got it all together, tested perfectly. Same design--one on/off switch, and one momentary on/off. BUT, I decided to superglue the momentary switch in there, and I guess some superglue got into the switch from the bottom. Foiled again by capillary action!! So, now this new switch has only one working button. At least it's the important one. Attachments ---------------- new remote.jpg (273KB - 0 downloads)

Extreme Junky Posts: 374 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Location: Wisconsin | Yeah, it came attached to a subwoofer, the PCB that was inside was perfect... it had bare copper holes along the traces to stick the necessary switches and wires for the additional momentary switch that I ruined. It was so sad that I ruined it. But, we've got this nice electronics store down the road... way cooler stuff than Radio Shack... it's a little hole in the wall store, I don't even know the name--yet Ive been in there three times. I got a plastic box and a couple switches from there. Got it all home, soldered it up, and of course, I got a momentary (off)-on switch by mistake (always on, off when pressed). So now I'm back, yet again to just an on-off switch.
