So I have a 60mm arcromatic 900mm lens and a 1.25 inch 9mm eyepiece but I can not get it to focuse useing my hand and the objective.

What do I do to get it to focus.Do i need a star diagonal or something.

Is it possible you're trying to focus on something to close? What are you focusing on?

Ahhh, ok... I had no idea what you were talking about, sorry hehe. Well, I'm no ATM expert, but It will be pretty hard to get it to focus with just your hand and the objective. You are probably going to need something to hold it steady....

A star diagonal isn't necessary, but with a tube and focuser, it should come together and focus. Are the eyepiece and objective the only parts for it you have?

Hmm, bummer dude, no duct tape?  Sometimes you can strike gold at the thrift store... find an old plastic Tasco tube or something maybe??
