Location: WA		Finally finished building myself a Denver Seat....... Turned out pretty good and is exactly what I needed. Total cost of materials was $34. Took me about 2 1/2 hours to build, taking my time. I'd like to put a couple of coats of urethane on it but it's too cold right now. Sure beats the heck out of $170 for the tube steel seats online.

Location: WA		Thanks! Can't wait to use it. It will be more comfortalbe than the standard stool I've been using.

Did you bother to put a protective finish on yours?

How are you holding the height adjustment? My buddy had notches that the bolt behind the seat back fit into.

Location: WA		The seat is held in position by friction. The plans call for 4" wide anti-skid tape and a bit of black rubber fuel hose. I used 2" anti-skid and some clear 3/4" vinyl tubing. I also used the 3 1/2" long "leftover" 2x4 in the same orientation as the uprights, but without a shim...........this made the fit of the L-Shaped seat brackets and front upright a tad snug......keeps the seat from dropping quickly when moved...... As you can see from my Clear Sky Chart, I might have a while to wait to test it out.

Also just flocked my 8" Dob today and can't wait to see the difference!
